Giannis posts 40th double-double of the season, Oladipo & Aminu fail to save their teams


Giannis Antetokounmpo posted his 40th double-double of the season to help Milwaukee Bucks beat Boston Celtis while Al Farouq Aminu and Victor Oladipo’s double-digit points couldn’t save their clubs from going down on Tuesday.

The likes of Semilore Ojeleye, OG Anunoby, Jahil Okafor, David Nwaba featured on Tuesday while other players of Nigerian descent like Bam Adebayo, and Ekpe Udoh were left on the bench.

Giannis Antetokounpo bounced back from the disappointment of his 4th quarter ejection in Bucks’ 125-128 overtime loss to Denver Nuggets on Sunday to help push Milwaukee close to the last playoff spot left in the Eastern Conference.

Giannis Antetokounpo dropped 29 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks and a steal to lead Milwaukee Bucks to a 106-102 win against Boston Celtics.

Semilore Ojeleye was also in action for Celtics in the tie but his 2 points and 5 rebounds couldn’t stop his side from going down on Tuesday.

Victor Oladipo the leader in steals, continue to pile in more steals, he had 4 in Indiana Pacers 104-107 loss to Denver Nuggets. He added 25 points, 7 assists and 2 blocks in 36 minutes.

D’Tigers Al-Farouq Aminu was in action in surprise Portland Trailblazers 109-115 loss to Dallas Mavericks. He had 10 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal on the night he went 2 for 10 in his attempted threes.

OG Anunoby had 4 points in 21 minutes played in Toronto Raptors 112-106 loss to Cleveland Cavaliers.

Jahlil Okafor had 15 points, and 5 rebounds in 16 minutes played in Brooklyn Nets 95-121 loss to Philadelphia Sixers.

David Nwaba dropped 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists in Chicago Bulls 120-114 win over Charlotte Hornets.
