Bright Silas and Godwin Aguda were on target either half as Rangers International FC beat Bantu FC 2-1 in their CAF Confederations Cup final qualification first leg on Sunday.
Bright Silas opened the scoring for the Flying Antelopes in the 18th minute of the game before Godwin Aguda increased the visitors tally to two.
The reigning Aiteo Cup champions, however, conceded a goal in the last minute of the game when Jokojokwana pulled one back for the three-time Lesotho Premier League champions.
Rangers will go into the second leg scheduled for 20th of January at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium with a great advantage over their opponents from Lesotho.
Rangers must avoid defeat to advance to the group stages of the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup.
