Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, has unveiled Hassan Abubakar as it new Technical Adviser.
The club also commission its club house on Saturday in Ilorin where the Technical Adviser and the players are expected to reside ahead of the new season.
While commissioning the house, the Kwara Football Association chairman, Malam Busari Ishola, urged other clubs in Nigeria to emulate ABS’s professional way of running a club.
Ishola commended the management of the club for always doing the right things at all time.
He said Saraki Boys’ vision is in line with that of his association and urged the team to continue to develop the players at the grassroots.
In his remarks, the team’s Director of Football, Alloy Chukwuemeka, said the club will not derail from running professionally in line with the vision of the proprietor of the club, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
He announced that arrangements are top gear for the club to lay foundation for its own ABS mini stadium in Ilorin before the end of the 2019.
Speaking with journalists after his unveiling, the new ABS Technical Adviser, Hassan Abubakar, said the task presented before him is not new and solicited the support of all and sundry.
The former Golden Eaglets coach promised to give young players opportunity.
