Libya U-23 team are ahead after the first 45 minutes of action against Nigeria at the Ben Guerdane Stadium in Tunisia.
The hosts who are playing in their neighbouring country are ahead and looked good at the end of the first 45 minutes.
Libya took the lead in the 6th minute very early into the game. Nigeria led by Kelechi Nwakali in the midfield tried to rally back but didn’t really produce anything spectacular in the final third.
The team was reduced to 10 when Adamu Abubakar was given a straight red card for handling the ball outside his area.
It is not going as planned for Nigeria U-23 team in their qualifier against Libya in Tunisia.
Imma Amapakabo and his boys must do whatever it will take to put themselves in the race when the return leg will be played in Nigeria on Monday in Asaba.
