Super Eagles defender has finally joined Spanish club Leganés from Chelsea on permanent basis.
The 2013 AFCON winner finally leaves Chelsea the club whom he joined in 2012 but never kicked the ball in an official game for the club.
After loans in at ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Kasımpaşa, Alanyaspor, Kasımpaşa and most recently at Leganés the defender will be returning to Spain.
Chelsea confirmed the sale via their website while Leganés also through their platforms confirm his permanent capture.
Kenneth Omeruo who spent the 2018-19 season on loan at the Leganés in La Liga where he shone will simply continue from where he left it off.
The amount involved in the transfer was not revealed by both clubs.
