Curry and Green help Warriors to 22nd straight win, Westbrook triple-double inspires Thunder

There is no stopping the Golden State Warriors, who improved to 22-0 after accounting for the Brooklyn Nets 114-98 in the NBA.

Led by usual suspects Steph Curry and Draymond Green, the reigning champions preserved their 100 per cent start to the season on Sunday.

Curry scored 16 of his 28 points in the third quarter and Green contributed 22 points as the Warriors won their 26th consecutive game overall in the regular season.

Thaddeus Young posted 25 points and 14 rebounds in the Nets’ home loss.

The Oklahoma City Thunder overcame the Sacramento Kings 98-95 thanks to Russell Westbrook.

Westbrook had his third triple-double of the season, finishing with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists as the Thunder won their fourth successive home game.

Thunder team-mate Kevin Durant tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds, including the go-ahead jumper with 23 seconds remaining.

Wesley Matthews had a season-high outing as the Dallas Mavericks trumped the Washington Wizards 116-104.

Matthews scored 36 points against the injury-plagued Wizards, who were missing Kris Humphries and Nene.

Elsewhere, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Andre Drummond helped the Detroit Pistons past the Los Angeles Lakers 111-91.

Jeff Green’s dunk with 0.5 seconds left on the clock saw the Memphis Grizzlies beat the Phoenix Suns 95-93.
