Curry helps Warriors beat Kings, Spurs go 18-0 at home and Jordan praises ‘lil bro’ Bryant

The San Antonio Spurs maintained their perfect home record in the NBA this season with a 101-95 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kawhi Leonard had a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds as the Spurs improved to 18-0 at home.

Boban Marjanovic had 17 points off the bench for the 27-6 Spurs, while Andrew Wiggins had a team-high 18 for the Timberwolves.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich was ejected and his team played the second half without him.

LeBron James moved up to 17th on the NBA’s all-time scoring list as the Cleveland Cavaliers edged past the Phoenix Suns 101-97.

The returning Kyrie Irving had a team-high 22 points for the Cavs, while James finished with 14 as he passed Alex English.

Michael Jordan paid tribute to Kobe Bryant, but the retiring Los Angeles Lakers great’s team suffered a 108-98 loss to the Charlotte Hornets.

Bryant, facing the team that drafted and then traded him, had 20 points, while Kemba Walker scored 38 for the Hornets.

Steph Curry’s 23 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists saw the Golden State Warriors past the Sacramento Kings 122-103.

The win was the Warriors’ 33rd straight win at home to finish 2015 with a calendar year record of 43-1.

Pau Gasol (22 points and seven rebounds) guided the Chicago Bulls past the Toronto Raptors 104-97.

The Brooklyn Nets were 111-105 victors against the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Clippers eased past the Washington Wizards 108-91.

The Atlanta Hawks’ six-match winning streak was ended after a 93-87 loss to the Indiana Pacers and the Orlando Magic outscored the New Orleans Pelicans in every quarter in a 104-89 win.

The Utah Jazz overcame the Philadelphia 76ers 95-91 and the Dallas Mavericks claimed a 103-93 win against the Milwaukee Bucks.
