Lewandowski to reject Man Utd and Chelsea move for Real Madrid switch

The likes of Manchester United and Chelsea have reportedly fallen behind Real Madrid in the race to sign Robert Lewandowski.

Recent speculation has claimed that the Polish striker is keen to leave the Bundesliga, having won every honour on offer on numerous occasions with Borussia Dortmund and his current employers Bayern Munich since his arrival from Lech Poznan in 2010.

That rumour was said to have alerted the Premier League duo, both of whom have supposedly courted the 27-year-old for some time.

However, Lewandowski has instead turned his focus to securing a move to the Spanish capital, despite Real’s upcoming two-window transfer ban, according to The Independent.

The report adds that Los Blancos will attempt to buy the centre-forward in the summer if they are able to overturn their suspension.

Nevertheless, it has been suggested that Lewandowski is prepared to spend another season with Bayern, before making the switch in 2017.
