AFCON 2019: South Africa send Egypt out to set up quarter-finals clash against Nigeria

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will now play the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the quarter-final of the 2019 AFCON.

After securing a hard-fought 1-0 victory against the hosts, Egypt, the Bafana Bafana of South Africa booked a place in the last 8 where they will face Nigeria.

Nigeria on their part defeated Cameroon 3-2 to secure a last eight place.

The clash between Nigeria and South Africa will a meeting between teams who knocked out the 2017 AFCON finalists.
