Brazil 2019: Golden Eaglets Lose Last Pre World Cup Friendly

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria have lost their last pre world cup friendly to Japan 1-0 as the team prepares for the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup to be staged in Brazil.

Wakatsuki Yamato’s goal in the 22nd minute condemned the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria to a second defeat in their pre world cup friendlies.

Nigeria had earlier lost to Sao Paulo FC and got a win against South Korea.

Nigeria will begin her quest for honours at the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup with a game against Hungary on October 26.
