CAF grants Rayon Sports’ request to postpone Confederations Cup playoff tie against Rivers United

CAF has granted the request of Rayon Sports of Rwanda for the postponement of Confederations Cup playoff tie next month against Rivers United.

Rwanda marks its Annual Remembrance Week for victims of the 1994 Genocide between April 7-14, which falls under the initial week for the first leg.

The first leg of the tie will now be played on the weekend of April 14-16 in Port Harcourt, while the return leg will be played on the weekend of April 22 at the Amahoro/Regional Stadium, Kigali.

The original dates were;
First leg: .7-9 April
Second leg: 14-16 April
