Campbell: World class Hazard at one of the biggest clubs in the World

Former Arsenal and England International defender, Sol Campbell, believes inform Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard is at the right club and doesn’t have to change the club to fulfill his potentials.

Sol Campbell said on Sky Sports that the era when a player has to play for either Barcelona or Madrid to be considered world class is gone and unstoppable Hazard is amongst the top players in the world right now.

Eden Hazard has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge with Real Madrid rumoured to be his likely destination but Campbell insists he is at the right club.

“He is just on his own, you know a couple of years back we saw what he could do but now he is got everything under control. He is ahead of everybody; he’s got the pace, the strength, and the skill – he’s got everything.

“This season he is definitely up there with the best because his performances are just exemplary; the way he is thinking about the game and he is done the same thing for his National team as well.

“You have to do it both international and for your team to be considered world class, but back in the day you almost need to or sometimes have to go to Barcelona or Real Madrid to be truly World Class.

“He is world class but the perception of people is that you have to go to those clubs to be able to say I have played for the biggest clubs in the world. But he doesn’t have to leave Chelsea to show that he is a top class player I was just being honest with you.

“Some Chelsea fans will say he is at one of the biggest clubs in the world right now, that is fine, and where he is now he is playing unbelievable and he is world class for sure, top, top.”
