Didier Drogba finally replies Samuel Eto’o over Africa’s greatest ever claims

Didier Drogba has finally replied Samuel Eto’o over his claim of ‘the greatest African player ever’.

Samuel Eto’o in an interview while reacting to El-Hadji Diouf’s claims of the most talented African said, no one comes close to him and that his record showed he is the best ever.

But Didier Drogba appeared to have shut down the debate over who amongst the three is the best african ever.

The Chelsea and OM legend points out that attention should be shifted in supporting current African stars such as Mo Salah and Saido Mane who are making continent proud and in fact have the potential to surpass their feats.

“He has the right to expression. My education does not allow me to answer, only UEFA is witness to the fact that Africa has great players, and some are among the top 20 sorers in the history of the Champions League.

‘My brothers Samuel Eto’o and El-Hadji Diouf were great players as was Ronaldinho at Barcelona. “

“Everyone has their star, today there is a new generation of footballers. Brothers like Saido Mane and Mo Salah do wonders in clubs and could do better than former players.

‘I cannot say in the eyes of the world that I will remain the best African scorer in LEAGUE DES CHAMPIONS, the world is evolving and there is still talent in AFRICA. “

“I will tell Samuel Eto’o and El-Hadji Diouf to encourage our young brothers who play in different clubs to enhance African football and continue to represent Africa in the world. Africa wins.“

This is how a seasoned and humble role model should talk not just being haughty and selfish like the yaounde guy. Only Ronaldo de lima better than me? Are you better than gerd muller, Gabriel batistuta, fernando torres, george weah, marco van basten, Dennis Berkamp, alfred di stefano, shevchenko, wayne rooney, filipo inzaghi, davor suker, raul gonzales, to mention a few?
Pride before downfall..
