Doncic, Ball hit triple doubles to help their teams win: NBA Round-up January 9th

Luka Doncic continued his fine run of form as he dropped a triple double for Dallas Mavericks as they defeated Orlando Magic 112-98. Doncic scored 20 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists, and Tim Hardaway Jr also chipped in with 36 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists.

Charlotte Hornets were able to defeat the Atlanta Hawks 113-105 thanks to a huge performance from LaMelo Ball. Ball scored 22 points with 12 rebounds and 11 assists to guide the Hornets to the win. The 19 year old also became the youngest player to ever record a triple double in the league.

Jimmy Butler scored 26 points with 10 rebounds and 9 assists to help Miami Heat defeat the Washington Wizards 128-124.

Phoenix Suns quickly recovered from their last defeat to beat the Indiana Pacers 125-117 with Mikal Bridges dropping 34 points with 3 rebounds and 2 assists.

DeMar DeRozan was in inspired form as he registered 38 points with 5 rebounds and 3 assists to help San Antonio Spurs to a 125-122 win over Minnesota Timberwolves.

Milwaukee Bucks were missing Antetokounmpo, but Khris Middleton made sure it wasn’t felt as he led the Bucks to a 100-90 win over Cleveland Cavaliers, scoring 27 points with 6 rebounds and 7 assists.

CJ McCollum was in a destructive mood as he led his Portland Trail Blazers team to win against Sacramento Kings. Trail Blazers won 125-99, with McCollum contributing 37 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
