Emenike ends goal drought, scores first goal for Fernabache since October last year

Former Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Emenike has ended his goal drought in Turkey.

The Fernabache striker who has mainly been used a substitute came in from the bench for Mousa Sow to score an individual goal in his club’s 3-1 victory over Adanaspor on the last day of Turkish Süper Lig.

Before his goal, Emenike has failed to score for The Yellow Canaries in 17 games, with his last before today’s strike coming in October last year when Fernabache defeated Konyaspor away from home by a lone goal.

The goal will bring a lot of relieve to the Nigerian who has been linked with a move away from Turkey.

Emenike scored a total of 8 goals for Fernabache in 33 games in all competition this season.
