Etor Daniel scores 2 in 2 to fire Al Nasr past Al Bashira into Sultan Cup semis
Etor Daniel scored the only goal to make it two in two games as his Omani club Al Nasr defeated Al Bashira 1-0 at the Al-Saada Stadium on Wednesday in the Omani Sultan Cup quarterfinal second leg to secure a 4-1 win on aggregate.
After securing a comfortable 3-1 away win in last week first leg at Al Bashira where Etor Daniel scored his sides first goal, the former Rangers attacker and teammates knew they have a leg in the semifinal barring a breakdown.
They did exactly what was needed to cement their place in the last four by beating their opponents who gave everything in the second leg but were undone by Etor Daniel goal.
Etor Daniel scored the decider in the first half, after receiving a pass from his teammates before finishing off from a difficult angle to ensure Al-Malik secured a (4-1) on aggregate.
Etor Daniel has scored a total of 8 goals and assisted 10 goals in all competitions so far this season.
