Future Eagles Win Silver At The African Youth Games

Nigeria U15 National Team have won silver at the African Youth Games following their 3-1 loss to Morocco in the final on Friday, July 27.

Morocco scored their first goal in the 20th minute and followed it up with a second in the 47th minute.

Nigeria halved the deficit on the hour mark but any hopes of a fight-back were extinguished when the North Africans scored in the 68th minute to make it 3-1.

After the African Youth Games, it’s back to the Netherlands for Omidiji but his performance at the tournament was not only impressive, but a great down payment on the future.
