Hamilton wins Hungarian GP for career 86th GP win to move five wins behind Schumacher’s F1 record

Lewis Hamilton has won his career 86th grand prix after claiming the 2020 Hungary grand prix on Sunday to move five wins closer to Michael Schumacher’s 91 record grand prix win.

The British super star who won with ease on Sunday for his record 8th Hungarian grand prix equalled Michael Schumacher’s single-venue record.

Michael Schumacher won the French GP eight times when it was held at Magny-Cours.

Lewis Hamilton claimed a 9-second margin win over second-place Max Verstappen who should have no place on the podium after crashing and breaking his Red Bull car’s front wing in wet conditions before the race.

Valtteri Bottas finished third to complete the podium places.

The win has returned Lewis Hamilton to the top of the drivers table with 63 points while with 58 Valtteri Bottas goes back to 2nd place on the standings.
