He is off the mark! Iheanacho scores first goal for Leicester City

Kelechi Iheanacho has scored his first goal after seven games for Leicester City in the club’s 3 1 win over Leeds United on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup
Iheanacho was at the end of a long ball from Vincent Iborra aimed towards Andy King who was beaten to the ball by goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald, but his weak clearance fell to Iheanacho who finished clinically.

The Nigerian kept his calm despite cries from the crowd for him to shoot but he stylishly picked his angle with ease 30 minutes before the end of the game, he turned provider when he teed up Islam Slimani with a headed pass which the Algerian smartly converted to put Leicester 2-1 up.

Iheanacho was substituted to a standing ovation after 81 minutes with Jamie Vardy taking his spot, in the game where Wilfred Ndidi and Ahmed Musa his other Nigerians at the club dropped to the bench for the entire duration of the game.

Riyad Mahrez sealed the win for Leicester City with the third goal of the game for the Foxes in the 88th minutes to seal their passage to the next round, and also their second consecutive victory under interim manager Michael Appleton.
