Joe Aribo In action as Southampton suffer Manchester United defeat

Nigerian Midfielder Joe Aribo was in action for Southampton as they suffered a narrow 0-1 loss to Manchester United in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Aribo played 88 minutes at the St Mary’s in the Matchday four encounter. The Super Eagle came close to scoring in the 66th minute, but United goalkepeer David De Gea saved his effort.

Manchester United secured their second win of the 2022/2023 season courtesy of Bruno Fernandes 55th minute goal. The Red Devil’s were not fantastic but held on for victory over the Saint’s .

Aribo has played in all four Southampton games to date and has a goal to his name this term. Southampton will return to action when the take on Chelsea in mid-week .

Manchester United new signing Casemiro came off the bench for his United debut and will be happy to walk off the pitch with victory after a tough contest vs Joe Aribo and the Saints.
