JS Saoura 1 Rangers 1: Advantage Flying Antelopes ahead of Sunday cracker

The 2015-16 Nigeria Professional Football League champions will be heading into Sundays must win clash against JS Saoura with great confidence having secured a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their CAF Champions League qualification first round in Algeria.

Flying Antelopes who are one of Nigeria’s representatives at this year’s CAF Champions League came from a goal down to secure a vital point in far-away Algeria.

Bourdim put the Algerian side ahead in the 32nd minute from a well taken a free kick after Kalu Orji handled the ball on the edge of Rangers box before Bobby Clement equalized for the Flying Antelopes 7 minutes after JS Saoura went ahead with a powerful left-footed strike from the edge of the box.

With a point and an away goal, Flying Antelopes will be heading into Sunday’s tie against the Algerians with great confidence knowing that their destinies are now in their hands.

The Nigerian champions who haven’t been doing well in the league must avoid defeat or a score draw when they face JS Saoura in front of their own fans at the Cathedral.
