KAA Gent sign Azango to replace Kalu and Moses

Belgian division A outfit KAA Gent have completed the signing of Nigerian attacker Philip Azango as replacement for departed Nigerian attackers Simon Moses and Samuel Kalu.

KAA Gent shelved out the required fee for them to sign the Nigerian attacker from Trencin for the next three seasons.

The 21-year-old left attacker has followed the footsteps of Moses Simon and Samuel Kalu who also made similar move by joining Gent from Trencin before departing for Levante and Bordeaux respectively.

Just like Simon Moses and Samuel Kalu, Philip Azango also graduated from the GBS Academy in Nigeria. Azango played for Nasarawa United before joining Plateau United where he won the Nigeria Professional Football League in 2016-17.
