Lewis Hamilton wins Belgian GP for his 89th career wins

Lewis Hamilton has won his 89th career win after beating everyone from the start to finish before claiming the 2020 Belgian Grand Prix.

After clinching the record-extending 93rd pole position of his career, Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton stood proudly on top of his all-black Mercedes and crossed his arms in memory of Chadwick Boseman.

The Mercedes driver was ruler taller than his peers as he breezed into his 5th win of the season after just seven races.

Valtteri Bottas took the chequered flag at Spa-Francorchamps 8.4 seconds behind his team-mate, with Red Bull driver Max Verstappen in third.

The win took Lewis Hamilton two wins from matching Michael Schumacher’s 91 career win.

And it has helped his quest for a record-equalling 7th championship title.
