LMC Confirms Kick Off Date For 2019/20 NPFL Season

Organisers of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, the League Management Company, LMC have confirmed the kick off date for the 2019/20 Season.

According to a letter sent to all participating clubs by the LMC dated 2nd of August, the LMC confirmed Sept 22nd, 2019 as the commencement of the new football league season of 38 matches as the abridged version played last season was botched.

The league will go on break from 30th Dec, 2019 to 10th January, 2020 while the regular season is scheduled to end on the 17th of May, 2020.

Enyimba are the defending champions of the NPFL having won a record 8th league title at the championship playoff in Agege, Lagos.
