Man Utd captain Maguire sees red after career ending tackle on Dolberg

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has been sent off in England’s UEFA Nations League clash against Denmark after his career ending tackle on Kasper Dolberg.

The former Leicester City defender who has been in bad form for Manchester United since the start of the season carried on the bad form into the national team.

Maguire was sent off with just half an hour gone in the clash at The Wembley after he was given his second yellow card of the game.

For his first, Maguire lunged a dangerous challenge at Yussuf Poulsen which caught the RB Leipzig man on the ankle.

And finally, he got the second yellow card after a career ending tackle on former Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg, despite touching the ball, Maguire’s follow-through caught the strikers hamstring.

The striker was immediately stretched off the pitch after receiving the tackle.
