Manchester United join Real Madrid & PSG in chase to sign Wilfred Ndidi

Manchester United have become the latest club to be linked with Super Eagles’ Wilfred Ndidi.

The Leicester City midfielder who has been linked with a move to French giants, Paris Saint-Germain and Spanish giants, Real Madrid has now been linked to English giants, Manchester United.

According to The Express, the former Genk midfielder could be on his way to Manchester United but on one condition.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer out to reinforce the midfield position regardless of the failure or success of Paul Pogba’s reported move to Real Madrid, Wilfred Ndidi could be on his way to Manchester United.

The report suggests that Wilfred Ndidi has been added to Manchester United transfer shortlist this summer but more as a back up choice.

Ajax midfielder, Donny van de Beek remains the clubs first choice alongside Bayern Munich’s French international Corentin Tolisso, but if a move for either fails then Wilfred Ndidi would be the next target for transfer.

Wilfred Ndidi who has established himself as the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League in the past two years deserves a move to a bigger club and hopefully that happens this summer.

Manchester United return to Premier League action this Friday when they take on Tottenham (8.15pm).

The Red Devils will be keen to leapfrog Chelsea and make it into the top four.

That would ensure Champions League qualification for next season and give them a better chance of signing their top targets
