MFM scrape past Nasarawa United in Agege

Lagos-based side, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry, MFM FC defeated Lafia-based Nasarawa United 1-0 at the Soccer Temple in Agege thanks to an early second half strike from Akanni Elijah.

The Church Boys came into the game after remaining unbeaten in their last two games in the league, and a second half strike in the 52nd minute from captain Akanni Elijah was enough to secure maximum points for the home side.

The result moves MFM up to 9th on the log, and Nasarawa United remain in 6th place. MFM have now picked up 7 points from a possible 12 since the confirmation of Olalekan Gabriel as their interim manager.
