Mfon Udoh scoops NPFL hotshot award, pockets 2 million Naira Eunisell Boot cash

Mfon Udoh has bagged the NPFL Goal King Award for the second time after his 10 goals in the regular season with hometown club Akwa United.

The 27-year-old forward first won this prestigious award in 2014, when he scored 23 goals for Enyimba to set an all-time goals record in the league.

Nasarawa United young forward Sunusi Ibrahim and Tasiu Lawal from Katsina United were the closest challengers to Udoh after they netted nine goals each.

The Goal King prize means that Mfon Udoh will also pocket two million Naira from Eunisell, which last year instituted the award to celebrate the league’s top scorer.

Each goal for the Eunisell Boot winner is worth 200,000 Naira.
