Nigeria beat WAFU Women Cup holder Ghana to set up final clash against Cote d’Ivoire
Super Falcons defeated arch rivals Black Queens of Ghana 4-2 on penalties after 0-0 regulation time in the semifinals of the Wafu Women Cup.
As it was in the African Women Cup of Nation in South Africa, where nine time African champions had to win the semifinal and the final via penalties, Falcons once again took advantage of penalty shoot-out to overcome the holder, Ghana to advance to final.
With the win, Super Falcons will on Sunday face host, Cote d’Ivoire in the final of the ongoing 2019 WAFU Women Cup
