Norway score seven against South Africa to fire warning shot to Nigeria ahead of FIFA Women’s World Cup opener

The Grasshoppers of Norway have fired a warning shot to the Super Falcons of Nigeria ahead of their clash at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup this June.

Norway led by Isabell-Herlovsen and Lisa-Marie Utland put seven goals in the net of the Bayana Bayana of South Africa in their last warm up game before their first game of the 2019 world cup against Nigeria.

Isabell-Herlovsen scored three goals, Lisa-Marie Utland scores two, Emilie Nautnes and Vilde Boee Risa completed the seven goals while Kholosa Biyana and Amanda Mthandi were the scorers of Bayana Bayana of South Africa goal scorers.

Nigeria on their part also defeated the Slovenian champions, Pomurje 3-0 in their last warm up game played today but Norway who are the former European, Olympics and World champions will definitely be a tough nut to crack

Nigeria are in the same group as the host nation France, Norway and South Korea.

Falcons start their World Cup campaign in France with a clash against Norway on June 8th.
