NPFL: Ex Flying Eagles Star Aniekeme Okon sends farewell message to Kano Pillars following Remo Stars transfer

Ex Flying Eagles Midfielder Aniekeme Okon on Monday August 21 took to his social media account to pen an emotional farewell to Kano Pillars Fc after his transfer to Remo Stars.

 

Okon who spent two seasons at Kano Pillars thank the club hierarchy, technical staff and fans for his time at the club which has made him a better footballer .

Dear KANO-PILLARS Fans,

Today I Say Goodbye To A Magnificent Club As It Is Kano Pillars . I want to thank The Club For Helping Me To Become A Better Footballer And For Making Me And My Family Feel At Home During My Time Here.

About A Year Ago Kano Pillars, a Club That Will Remain In My Heart, Gave Me The Amazing Opportunity To Play In The City Of KANO And For Me Playing In The NPFL Season Is A Dream Come True.

After This Year I Can Only Say Thank You To The Club, To The Fans That Have Supported Me Since The First Day I Wore This Jersey And Of Cause Thank You And GoodLuck To My Team-Mates, Who Help Me Settle In Since Day One Not Only As A Teammates But As Friends.

Today I Say Goodbye To Kano Pillars But I Take With Me Many Memories, Lesson And Great Moments That Will Live With Me Forever. It Has Been One Of The Best Years Of My Football Career.

At Last I Want To Wish KANO PILLARS Many Success For The Future And Thank The Club For Giving Me The Opportunity To Sign For REMO STARS FOOTBALL CLUB, A Club to Which I Want To Give Back All The Trust They Have Given Me And Start A New Season With Many Success.
