NPFL: MFM On Fire, Lobi Light Up Kano As Delta Force Win Big In Matchday Three

Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministry Football Club, MFM FC of Lagos made it two away wins from two as they pipped Rangers Intl 1-0 in Enugu in one of the Matchday three NPFL fixture played across the country on Sunday.

Captain Chuks Kenedinum effort in the 45th sealed the win for Olukoya boys who remains unbeaten in the league this season.

It was another away win in Kano as Lobi Stars through Douglas Achiv strike in the 62 minute meant Kano Pillars were beaten at their backyard.

Delta Force were the biggest winners at home on match day three as they hit Jigawa Golden Stars 4-1 in Asaba with Mubarak Abdulsallam, Isaac Oduro, Otukhe Egbo Williams Nmesitionye all on the score sheet.

Akwa United fell 3-1 to Enyimba at the Aba Township Stadium after a first half foray of goals from Austin Oladapo, Stanley Dimgba and Samson Obi while Mfon Udoh got the consolation for Akwa Utd.

Elsewhere Sunshine Stars held Abia Warriors to a 1-1 draw just as the score line was the same between Heartland and Akwa Starlets.

Katsina United were 1-0 victorious over Nasarawa United while Plateau United pipped Wikki Tourist 2-1.

In Nnewi, FC Ifeanyi Ubah got the better of Rivers United with the Matchday ending in a 2-0 win for Warri Wolves against Adamawa United.
