Onazi suffers injury in Trabzonspor victory 

Super Eagles assistant captain Ogenyi Onazi picked up an injury in Trabzonspor’s Super Lig clash against Kayserispor at the Senol Günes Stadium on Saturday.

The 25-year-old was replaced on 25 minutes in the matchday 28 encounter after suffering an injury of unknown degree.

The degree of the injury is expected to be confirmed by Trabzonspor in coming days with some tests already in line for the Nigerian.

Onazi’s injury might be a big worry for Eagles’ coach Gernot Rohr as he has only few weeks before he is obliged to release Nigeria’s provisional squad list to the 2018 World Cup
