Sanllehi names price for Aubameyang to avoid Ramsey, Welbeck & Wilshere situations

Arsenal’s Raul Sanllehi is willing to cash in on their captain and star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang when they can, to avoid a repeat of the situations they faced with Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck.

The Gunners have a policy of allowing any player who is not willing to renew his contract to run down his deal instead of selling the player at a cut-price – but that policy is about to be changed.

The club’s head of football, Raul Sanllehi, has reportedly said no player would be allowed to run down his contract as they did in the past with Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck who all left the club on free transfers.

According to the Sun, Arsenal are willing to accept a bid in the region of £20m from any club interested Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has just 13-months left on his contract.

The club would only sell if their asking price is met, anything short of that, the club would allow the former Milan striker to run out his contract according to the report.

Premier league rivals, Chelsea, Manchester United; Spanish giants Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have all been rumoured to be interested in the Gabonese International who is not willing to renew his contract if the club fails to qualify for champions league for the fourth straight seasons.

Since joining Arsenal from Borussia Dortmund, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has bagged 61 goals in 97 appearances.
