Simy, Iheanacho, Moffi, Onuachu and Osimhen light Europe with goals

Unstoppable Kelechi Iheanacho, goal grabbing Paul Onuachu, Italia Serie A most in-form striker Simy Nwankwo, Nigerian golden boy Victor Osimhen and Terim Moffi were all on target for their clubs across Europe over the weekend.

Simy Nwankwo got the goal rain started after his goal in Crotone’s 3-2 loss to Spezia on Saturday. The 28-year-old striker is arguably the most inform striker in the Italian Serie A currently with a total of 9 goals in his last 6 games.

He has a total of 16 goals in 30 league games and he has scored at least a goal on his last 6 Italian Serie A games.

Paul Onuachu also chalked his 27th league goal of the season in Genk’s 4-0 routine win against St.Truiden on Sunday.

The lanky striker has scored a total of 29 goals in all competitions for Genk this season. His 27th league goal tally is the highest in the Belgian League with the closest on 21 goals.

Senior man Kelechi Iheanacho who was recently named the Premier Legaue player for the month of March marched on with a brace in Leicester City 3-2 loss to West Ham on Sunday.

Kelechi Iheanacho now has 8 goals in 18 league games with 7 of his goals coming in his last 5 league games.

Victor Osimhen was on target in Napoli’s 2-0 win at Sampdoria in a League game on Sunday, the goal is his 5th in 16th league games.

Terem Moffi ended his 8-game goalless run to score his 9th league goal of the season.

The Lagos-born striker scored Lorient’s equalizer against Gael Kakuta led Lens but was unable to help his side avoid a 4-1 bashing at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Sunday.

His 9-goal tally has come in 26 league appearances for Lorient.
