Squash: 2nd Chief Olusegun Obasanjo National Squash Open Gets Underway In Abeokuta

The 2nd Chief Olusegun Obasanjo National Squash Open has gotten underway in Abeokuta at the OOPL Squash Court with interesting matches being decided.

The National squash open which got underway this Friday as since reached the round of 16 stage with the big boys still in the mix with little or no upset yet.

The likes of Onaopemipo Adegoke, Sodiq Taiwo, Femi Shedera, Kehinde Samuel, Idowu Enimakure and Adbulrahman Lanre still in the party in the men’s category.

In the women’s category, top seed Olatunji Busayo has progressed into the quarter final while Abdluazeez Rofiat and Ibukunoluwa Ajani are still much in aim for the title.

The boys and girls category have also reached the Round of 16 stage.

The Chief Olusegun Obasanjo National Squash Open is in its 2nd edition as the Nigeria Squash Federation in conjunction with the Ogun State Squash Federation aims at discovery more talent in the sport for the country.
