Super Falcons to play Gambia in AWCON 2018 Second Round Qualifier

Super Falcons of Nigeria will play against Gambia over two legs in the second round of the qualifiers for the African Women’s Cup of Nations, Ghana2018 

The defending champions of the tournament are among the four teams given the advantage to advance into the second round without playing in the first round of the qualifiers. Others are Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and South Africa.

The Scorpions of Gambia qualified for the second round after beating Burkina Faso on penalties as it ended 3-3 on aggregates.

The first leg of the encounter will be played in Gambia on June 4, while the second leg will be played in Nigeria five days after.
