SV Roeselare 3 Eupen 2: Henry Onyekuru hits 23rd league goal tally in Belgium

Highly coveted Eupen attacker Henry Onyekuru hits a 23 goal landmark in Belglum, thanks to his brace in his side’s 3-2 defeat to SV Roeselare on Saturday.

The Nigerian who has been linked to a host of European clubs scored his brace in the 88th and 90th minutes of the match to reduce his clubs deficit having gone 3-0 down.

His brace makes it his 11th goal in 10 playoffs games. Henry Onyekuru scored 12 goals in 28 regular season games as Eupen avoided relegation.

The 19-year-old whose team missed out on a ticket to play in Europa League next season having finished 3rd in their group scored a total of 23 goals in 38 games (regular and playoffs) for his Belgium outfit.
