Top Scorer Odion Ighalo Shoots Al Hilal To Saudi Arabian League Title Win.

Nigerian forward Odion Ighalo scored a brace to help Al Hilal to a 2-1 win over Al Faisaly to retain the Saudi Arabian Pro League title on Monday 27th June 2022.

Ighalo’s scored in the 7th and 64th minute before the visitors pulled one back with 20 minutes to the end of the contest. A nervy finish ensued with Al Hilal knowing a win will be enough to secure a title defence .

Al Hilal held on for a 2-1 win that ensured they finished with 67 points from 30 matches three points above close challengers Al Ittihad who failed to win on the night.

33 year old Odion Ighalo who joined the Saudi Arabian Pro League Champions on the 29th of January 2022 from Al Shabab has enjoyed a rosy spell In front of goal this season scoring 24 times to win the top scorer award.
