Two big countries want to play friendly games against Nigeria

The Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed that two big footballing nations are interested in playing friendly games against the Super Eagles.

Since Nigeria played in AFCON qualifier match against Leshoto they have not play any game, no thanks to COVID-19 that rocked the entire world this.

But with the return of sporting activities, Nigeria could see their darling Super Eagles in action again as the NFF confirmed two games are on the offing.

Melvin Amaju Pinnick in an Instagram interview on the NFF official account confirmed that two big teams are willing to engage the Eagles in friendly games.

He said the game would be played in Portugal or Paris but they have not announced because the arrangements just at 70%.

“The arrangement is 70% confirmed,” said Pinnick.

“We hope to make use of the FIFA windows in both September and October.

“The friendlies could be played in Paris or Portugal and we have two big countries one African and South American.

‘We want to get everything done before we inform the public but we are ensuring that the Super Eagles play two friendlies.”
