U23 AFCON: Chukwueze, Awoniyi and four other foreign-based players to lead Dream Team VII against Libya

Red-hot Taiwo Awoniyi, teen sensation Samuel Chukwueze and four other foreign-based players will lead Dream Team VII against Libya when they clash in the first leg of the Africa U-23 Nations Cup championship qualifier at Ben Guerdene Stadium, Tunisia on March 20.

According to an official who spoke to ScoreNigeria the players are due to depart their bases on March 17 and arrive in Tunisia the following day.

Taiwo Awoniyi who is the most inform Nigerian striker in Europe with 7 goals, 2 assists in 8 games will lead the attack, and supported by Samuel Chukwueze who was on target for Villarreal in their 2-0 win at Levante on Sunday.

Other foreign-based players confirmed for the clash are Rizespor midfielder Okechukwu Azubuike, Kelechi Nwakali, Orji Okonkwo and Kingsley Michael.
