Umar Sadiq now in Spain with La Liga chasing Almeria

Umar Sadiq has taken his talent to Spain after joining La Liga chasing Almeria from Serbian club Partizan.

The 2016 Bronze medalist who was linked to a summer move to Manchester United joined the Segunda club and in fact, opened his goal scoring account on Tuesday.

Sadiq, 23, who is playing in his 10th club after spells at Abuja FC, Roma, Spezia, Bologna, Torino, Breda, Rangers, Perugia, and Partizan scored a beauty against Cartagena.

His goal was the equalising goal in the 1-1 draw at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos in Segunda division two game.

It was just his third game for Almeria and he marked it with a good goal.

With his move to Spain, Umar Sadiq has now played five different European countries; Italy, Netherlands, Scotland, Serbia, and now Spain.
