Victor Moses’ Fenerbahce risk drop after points lose

It is not going as planned for Victor Moses and Fenerbahce as the Yellow Canaries played a 1-1 home draw against Konyaspor on Saturday.

Fenerbahce missed the chance of going two points above the drop but failed to make good use of the home and a man advantages in their Turkish top flight clash at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.

Victor Moses started his first ever league game for Fenerbahce having previously played three of his past league games from the bench, but for the 82nd minite he spent before he was subbed off for Alper Potuk his contribution failed to save his side.

In fact, it was Konyaspor who already had a player, Adis Jahovic sent off in the 32nd minute that took the lead in the 36th-minute through Moryke Fofona.

Jailson equalized for Fener in the 45th minute. The scoreline at half time remained the till the end of the match as Moses and co failed to find the winner against 10-man Konyaspor.

The result has not done Fenerbahce’s survival push any help as they are now on the same points with Ankaragucu who are the last team on the relegation zone.

Here is what the drop zone looks like with 22 round of games played. The 16th, 17th and 18th teams will be relegated at the end of the season.
