VIDEO: Watch as Hamilton wins British GP with three wheels

Lewis Hamilton has won the 2020 British Grand Prix in a dramatic fashion after hanging on despite having a punctured tire.

The Briton ensured he claimed his third victory of the season to extend his lead at the top of the drivers’ standing.

Both Mercedes drivers had their tires punctured, Valtteri Bottas’s had his punctured two laps while Lewis Hamilton had his punctured in the last lap.

While Bottas dropped out of the race, Hamilton hung on to win a dramatic race and his third of the season after wins at Styrian, Hungary.

Red Bull Racing-Honda’s Max Verstappen finished second and Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc completed the podium.

The win secured an historic seven grand prix win for Lewis Hamilton at Silverstone.
