Watch as Moffi scores 5th league goal of the season with a delicate chip to help Lorient beat Lyon

Terem Moffi has scored his 5th league goal of the season with a delicate chip to help Lorient beat Lyon 3-1 in a French Ligue 1 game on Wednesday.

The Super Eagles striker who is currently third on Ligue scorer chart with only Neymar Jr. (7) and Kylian Mbappe (7) ahead of him as his goal helped Lorient to a remarkable win at Stade du Moustoir.

Enzo Le Fee curled a direct free kick into the back of the net with the right foot in the 6th minute of the game to put Lorient in front.

But Alexandre Lacazette 28th minute left foot strike drew parity for Lyon who were yet to lose a game in the new season.

A defensive blunder from Thiago Mendes allowed Dango Ouattara to play Terem Moffi through – the Nigerian scored with a delicate chip in the 33rd minute to restore Lorient’s lead.

Four minutes into the start of second half Terem Moffi tried to return a favour to Dango Ouattara who scored Lorient’s third of the night.

Super Eagles midfielder Innocent Bonke was on the pitch from start to finish as Lorient condemned Lyon’s to their first league defeat.
