Onigbinde blames NFF for Oliseh’s unprofessional comments
Former Super Eagles coach, Festus Adegboye Onigbinde has labeled the present Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh as unprofessional and lack good manners to handle Super Eagles, after he hits out at his critics as “insane”.
Festus Onigbinde did not hide his dissatisfaction at Sunday Oliseh’s reaction while speaking on phone on a TV program in Lagos.
“Oliseh did not show good manners and he was not professional in any way,” said Onigbinde, who led Nigeria to the 2002 World Cup.
“There was no need to make so much noise about what happened in Rwanda.
“We have always maintained that when employing someone we should take into consideration their behaviour, manners and social background.”
He also argued that it was not necessary for Oliseh to attempt to take on his critics.
“I never argued with any football fan when I was in charge simply because they expressed their opinion based on what they know, Nigerians love football and their opinions should be appreciated”.
He also called out Oliseh for calling CHAN a less important event.
