Kelechi Iheanacho (Manchester City)
Though he didn’t feature in the cracker against Liverpool he got a winners medal and the 19-year-old Nigerian will be proud of his first silverware with Manchester City.
Brown Ideye ( Olympiakos)
Brown Ideye has won his first-ever league title in Europe with Olympiakos, after a comprehensive 3-0 win over Veria FC on Sunday. They won the league title with six games left, 67 points from 24 matches. It was the Greek club’s 43rd title and Ideye’s first.
John Mikel Obi (Chelsea)
The Nigerian midfielder was instrumental to his side’s comeback victory over Southampton. His exceptional distribution and positional discipline allowed his teammates room to operate effectively especially his midfield partner Cesc Fabregas who completed 108 (86%) passes and scored a goal for his side.
John Obi Mikel also completed 96% of his passes.
4. Anthony Ujah (Werder Bremen)
Anthony Ujah has cause to celebrate as he got his 1 goal in as many games. It was his clubs first in their 2-2 draw against Darmstadt 98
5. John Ogu (Hapoel Be’er Sheva)
The lanky Nigerian midfielder who has been in fine form this season scored the winning goal for his club as they beat Hapoel Kfar Saba away from home to maintain their lead at the top of the Israeli Ligat ha’Al.
