18 year 2020/2021 NPFL goal king Silas Nwankwo yesterday made his first start for Mjallby following his transfer to Swedish Allevasken side in February 2022.
The Nigerian forward had come off the bench to score his sides 3rd goal in a Convincing 3-0 win over Sirius on Saturday to merit his first start for A. Brannstorm tutored Mjalby vs Varberg on Matchday five.
The former Nassarawa United forward drew blank in a drab game that finished 0-0. Five matches into the new season, Silas Nwankwo has made 3 appearances ( 2 substitute and 1 start ) for Mjalby with one goal to his name.
With 10 points , Mjalby sit third on the log and will face Helsingborg in their next match on the 1st of May 2022.
