2018 WCQ: Double celebration for Alex Iwobi
Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi is excited about two key reasons as Nigeria recorded a decent end in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers on Friday night with a 1-1 draw against Algeria.
Iwobi who was the man that effectively sealed Nigeria’s place in Russia with his solo effort the last term against Zambia said he was happy Nigeria finished top in Group B and were also unbeaten in their six qualifying games.

Just recently, the Arsenal star spoke of how grateful he is for what he has, as he could also have been one of the average Nigerians who struggle daily to live.
“It makes me feel grateful for what I have,” he said of the feeling he gets whenever he visits Nigeria. “I have always grown up in England, so I didn’t really know how it was back there.
“But when I go back, I see how people struggle in life and life isn’t as easy there as it is in England and it gives me a reality check and I try to help some of the people out there.”
