2022 NBA Playoffs: Memphis Grizzlies defeat Timberwolves to win first playoff series since 2015
Grizzlies complete Conference semifinals lineup
The Memphis Grizzlies continued to impress in the 2022 NBA Playoffs with a hard-earned 114-106 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 6 of their first-round meeting, closing out the series with a 4-2 win.
The Grizzlies had to do it the hard way and come back from a double digit deficit in the fourth quarter to claim the win that gives them a first Playoffs victory since 2015.
Dillon Brooks and Desmond Bane led the scoring for the Memphis Grizzlies with 23 points apiece, and Jaren Jackson Jr scored 18 points. Ja Morant finished with a double-double of 17 points and 11 assists, as did Brandon Clarke, who had 17 points and 11 rebounds.
For the Minnesota Timberwolves, they had Anthony Edwards score 30 points in the game, and Jaden McDaniels scored 24 points, also. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 18 points and made 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who will now bow out after an impressive season.
